I'm new to the DC area.  I have a 2006 MX-5 Miata.  I need a reliable,
honest service provider and I prefer dealers.  Tried Rosenthal in Arlington
for the 15,000 mile service, not much more than an oil change.  They tried
to upsell me to a $295 service, most of which was fluff.  I paid for a tire
rotation but they didn't tell me up front that they don't balance the tires
unless you pay extra.  I said, "So I guess I'll find out if I've got a new
shimmy on the way home."  The service manager shrugged.  It was basically,
give me your credit card and no "thank you" either.  I won't go back there.
I live in NW DC.  Is there an alternative?  Tom Lewis
