I have a 2002 Prot?g? 5 that I took to the garage because the left rear disc
brake was dragging enough to make the wheel get pretty hot on the highway.

The shop said those brakes were pretty hard to keep adjusted, but they
greased the rails on the calipers, backed off the pads a little, and
everything worked fine for about a week.

Now, sometimes the brake drags, and sometimes it doesn't, and I can't figure
out why. I'm looking for some ideas before I take it back in, because you
know that it won't drag while the mechanic is looking at it.

Mickey. No one told you about Jim Hull, the guy in Fairfax with this huge
hoard of Rx-7 parts?
Shame on them. Give him a call. I'm sure he's got the starter you need.
