[MSCW list] RAM 2007 this Friday is a GO

Just got off the phone with MotorWeek (Maryland Public Television), they
confirmed that Friday is the day they are shooting and interviewing
enthusiastic Mazda owners no matter what the weather.  So Friday morning
we are a GO as planned.  

Tentative car show schedule:  10:00am until 3:00pm, registration 10:00
until 11:30, parade laps noonish, awards/prizes around 1:00-1:30.
Crispy Regan is coordinating the car show for us and has hand made a
rotor trophy for the grand prize rotary winner.  Many other trophies and
door prizes worth hundreds of dollars will be give out for ALL Mazda
owners, baring any other unpredictable's.  So wear rain gear, show up,
have fun with others, drive, talk cars, hope you win a prize and wave to
MotorWeek this Friday at Summit Point Motorsports Park. 

    Driving Directions

    * Summit Point Motorsports Park, PO Box 190, Summit Point, WV 25446,
Tel: (304) 725-8444.
    * Summit Point is located 70 miles west of Washington, DC, 20
minutes east of Winchester, VA where there are numerous hotels and
restaurants. 

>From Washington, DC and Northern Virginia:

    * Take Route 7 west past Leesburg towards Winchester, VA. Take the
Rt. 7 Leesburg bypass to avoid downtown traffic. Continue west past
Berryville exists and turn right on Route 632 (Crums Church Road).
Follow Route 632 until you reach a "T" intersection; turn right onto
Route 761 (Old Charles Town Road). Continue on 761 until the next "T"
intersection, you will pass the Shenandoah Circuit on your right, make a
right turn over the small hill and the entrance is 300 yards on your
right. 

>From Washington, DC and Maryland Suburbs:

    * Take I-270 North to Route 340 West towards Charles Town, WV.
Continue through Charles Town on Route 51 West. Bear left at the three
way stop sign onto Summit Point Road (Route 13) and drive 8 miles.
Summit Point Raceway in on the left, one half mile past the town of
Summit Point. 

Driving from the South:

    * Take I-81 North to Winchester, VA Route 7 exit. Turn left at the
light. Approximately seven miles turn left at the light onto Route 632
(Crums Church Road). Follow Route 632 until you reach a "T"
intersection; turn right onto Route 761 (Old Charles Town Road).
Continue on 761 until the next "T" intersection, you will pass the
Shenandoah Circuit on your right, make a right turn over the small hill
and the entrance is 300 yards on your right. 

Driving from the North:

    * Take Interstate 81 South to Inwood, WV exit. Take Route 51 east to
town of Middleway. Take a right on the Leetown Road and drive 5 miles to
the stop sign. Take a right onto Summit Point Road (Route 13) and drive
1 mile. Summit Point will be on your left.
