[MSCW list] Miata tops revisited

Hi Folks,
A number of us have discussed doing top replacements as a social function for some time - sounds intriguing! 
I'm going to have to go ahead and purchase a top and replace my gaffer tape special on my wife's car soon. Is anyone aware of current specials on quality tops to look for? I researched quality, price and received samples last year, but didn't come to a verdict in the end.
Thoughts?
