[MSCW list] Wind Deflector So Hat Doesn't Blow Off?

Greetings.  I have a 2004 MX-5 Mazadaspeed.  I'm not especially tall, but
the top of my head comes right up to the top of the windshield when I've
got the top down, so any hat I am wearing is always bouncing around on my
head, which is distracting.  Slouching down more is not an option.  Is
there any wind deflector out there that 1) a total novice could install,
and 2) does not look cheap?  Any other creative solutions that would not
destroy the look of the car are welcome.  I saw a deflector for a sunroof
today at Advance Auto Parts, but it was plastic and looked cheap.
