You may want to check the drains. They're probably clogged, allowing water to accumulate where you don't want it.? The openings are at the top of the seatbelt tower; a straightened hanger should do the job.? A Google search will offer pictures and tips.
I had a similar revelation with my '90 model when I investigated a sloshing sound in the door sill cavities.? Fortunately, my '04 MSM (titanium, like yours) is garaged at home and work, and therefore less likely to accumulate junk (but I'll clean them this weekend).
