....I hear an obvious liquid sloshing around sound coming from what seems to be behind the passenger seat. It doesn't matter if the fuel tank is full or near empty. I don't hear it on the way home, but it sounds like it is a lot of water?, gas? sloshing around. There's no odor in the car or in the trunk, and I've stopped and swung the door open/closed and it is not in the door. It seems like it correlates some with whether it has rained, but I'm not sure about that. .

Here is something to check out. At the seminars held at Seatco, I learned the importance of the drain system that is around the periphery of where the convertible top attaches at its sides and back at the base. There are drains to deal with the water that gets down into the crevice between top and body. Over time the drainage tubes get clogged with debris. We saw that during a top replacement demo, when the old parts were removed.

There could also be other voids where water is collecting, so I suggest having a body shop put the car on a lift and check for signs of corrosion on the bottom.
