I stored my '93 FD for well over a year while I was overseas in the past. I
charged the battery, turned the key, and fired it up with no effort.
Granted, I had some Stabil in the gas to keep it from going bad. If it
doesn't start quickly, you can try slightly more drastic measure such as
changing the plugs, but I think you should be fine.

I'm curious if others have counterpoints.

Subject: [MSCW list] [3] resurrecting a stored RX

I have a '95 RX that I have had in storage (i.e. neglected, if you like),
which has not been started for about one year; prior to this it was in good
running order. My question is this: to get the car going again, do I just
put in a battery and turn the key, or are there some precautions I should
take before doing so? What's the best way to get my RX going again without
damaging the engine? All advice welcomed.

Many thanks, Simon
