For the interior light fixture you can try ebay or the junkyard. I had to
find some parts for my Miata when someone ran into my front end. I ended up
calling California, as the state seems to be the country center for the
Miata. Could it be the year round beautiful weather. Anyways, they set me up
well. Saved a ton of money, but I had to replace all of my front right side,
including my bumper.

However, you have just one small part. You may as well go to the dealer. I
go to Russell Automotive in Baltimore, as they are the only area dealer that
offer the mechanic's discount for parts without a hassle.

I will need to buy new tires soon for my 2008 MX-5 grand touring. I often
drive the backroads and scenic highways with lots of turns and hills. So, I
want tires that hold the road and are quiet with a long life. Any
recommendations?

Thanks.

Hello!

Looking for some advice from club members...I have a 2008 MX-5 Miata PRHT.
Recently when I went to turn on my interior light, the switch broke in my
hand. So now it's loose and will not engage in any of the 3 set positions,
and the light will not come on. I searched online and found where to buy
replacement bulbs, but I couldn't find anything related to replacing the
switch assembly itself, nor could I find that part for sale. I looked
through miata.net and lots of googling, but no dice.

Any advice? Is this something that can only be fixed at a dealership? Is
there any other way to get the part. Other thoughts?

Thank you.

Joe

You can try RockAuto.com, if anyone has it they will.

Pretty likely that's a dealer part, but it's not going to be terribly
expensive, you might give Rosenthal a call, as I recall there's a club
discount.
