Brian,
I would like to come to the picnic next Sunday as you suggested and talk to some folks about my quest for a Miata. It appears that there will be a car show as well. Do I need to register or can I just show up and wander around?
Thanks for the invitation.

My suggestion would be to come to the picnic and let people tell you why they like the one they have, then you can see what fits you best. Be aware there is a major maintenance at 60k miles, that has an impact on prices.
