[MSCW list] Dreaded Rocker Panel Rust Problem

Hi all.

Today I had my 2004 Mazdaspeed MX-5 at my mechanic for some brake work and
diagnosis of other problems. While up on the lift, I noticed that the
driver's side rocker panel had rust forming on it while the passenger side
showed the beginnings of it. I looked at the Mazda forum where people were
divided on fix it, sell it, ignore it. The only consensus seemed to be that
if it was not fixed correctly, it would only get more expensive and worse.
This is not the type of work that I can do myself. Does anyone have a
recommendation for a body shop in the area that, hopefully, you have direct
experience with for this particular problem? Thanks in advance for any help
you can offer.
