One of the politico-geek message boards has reported that the Chinese government has made the following offer:


IF TRUMP WILL RESIGN AS PRESIDENT,

THE CHINESE WILL "RETIRE" NORTH KOREA'S LEADER, HIS REGIME, AND THEIR NUKES.


Sounds like a damn good deal.  And Trump has a face-saving way to bow out of politics.
