[MSCW list] NA Miata left seat -?-

I know that the left/drivers seat for early Miatae in the US are extremely rare (at least in good condition), but I thought I'd ask.  Does anyone have any thoughts on how or where to locate one?  Yes, I've looked around online, and all the photos that I've seen show seats that are in worse condition than the one I have now.  I've heard the suggestion of finding a used left seat in Japan or perhaps the UK, where most of the wear and tear would be on the right seat, but I have no idea about contacts for such a transaction.  Any leads will be much appreciated.
