Greetings all,
I have been thinking about selling but have not really focused on it but I'm finally moved to action. As much as I enjoy the car, I rarely use it and would like to pass it on to a person with a genuine interest in the make and model. The vehicle is optimized for track duty and not all original. This is a plus for some, a minus for others. Only you know where you stand on that but I'll add that for the purpose I've chosen, this vehicle is a dream on the track. In any case, I looked at some numbers on the web and there is substantial variation in price. Some crazy numbers, as high as $50,000. I don't believe my car is anywhere as valuable but also understand that the prices have started to go up. I also know I will never get back the money I've put into it. In any case, a flexible starting number, based on the fact that there are issues with the car is $20,000. I'd ask $24,000 if I were to address the issues, but as much as I love the car, time and desire are in short supply when it comes to working on it.
Make an offer. I'm more inclined to accept one these days than ever before. I am motivated to sell the thing. Maybe for substantially less for cash.
Write back directly if interested, and maybe we can work out a deal. I've listed both the issues and modifications to help you assess the value or lack thereof.
Located in Potomac MD not far from where 270 & 495 meet.
Best regards,
Efrem Osborne

Bad
- This vehicle has been to the body shop for repair after a spin. All damaged parts were replaced with factory new components. It aligns perfectly.
- Broken CD player (laser alignment problem which manifests itself as a disk load problem)(I have a used original that I never installed.)
- Carpeting on Drivers side worn
- Flat spot at 2500 rpm. Never an issue for me but it may be for others
- TPS needs adjustment to fix hunting idle (my theory)
- Exhaust leak. Worst case scenario is a cracked manifold (I haven't checked to see where the leak is)
- Catalytic converter would need to be replaced if the car is to be subjected to emmissions testing. I registered it as a historic vehicle so it is exempt from testing.
- Odometer is broken. The mileage is approximately 110,000. It could be repaired by replacing one or more electrolytic capacitors or replaced completely (and the mileage would show as zero).
