[MSCW list] Looking for place that works on factory '88 RX vert audio

My radio has failed. Looking for place that rebuilds/restores vintage  car
audio systems in Northern Va. Its a Pioneer factory installed system. Here
are the symptoms:

1.	No volume whatsoever
2.	When turning car on radio reverts to lowest AM station. I can swap
to FM and tune to other stations  but when car is turned back on.its back to
AM setting. 
3.	Power and surround buttons on console do not light up when pressed
4.	Audio fuse is ok but we replaced it anyway but still nothing 
5.	I have not dared try to put cd or cassette into the unit to test
that for fear they will get stuck and make things worse. 

 

 

I know that I may have to replace the unit but pretty sure I won't be able
to retain the headrest speakers and I would have to live with that. Don't
want to spend a bundle on diagnostics or new basic  audio system even though
my '88 vert is classic and  in terrific shape with 134K.  I am carrying a
very small boom box on my passenger seat to get tunes while driving.looks
silly but gotta have my tunes. Using radio function on cell phone is not
loud enough and awkward.
