I never really found an outdoor car cover that did not trap moisture, so I
decided to go with the lightest color/most reflecting one I could find
opting to protect against the damaging sun and heat. The inexpensive bright
white Tyvek covers substantially reduce the light passing through and the
interior temperatures are significantly lower.

The trade-off is that I only use it on dry days and if a thunderstorm crops
up, I remove the wet cover to let both the car and cover dry before
recovering. The Tyvek is very light but does not breath well. Yes, it is a
pain, but the sun damage is worse and it addresses the high temperature, dry
dog days of summer. One of our fellow members was quoted several thousand
dollars to replace sun damaged interior parts, he is looking at
alternatives.

from people in Ca or FL and they just want to keep the sun off their cars.
Need to do more research.

many years ago for my outside old BMW. The price was good and it came with a
cable and lock. This also prevented the cover from blowing away. In the past
universal fit covers were sold in store.
