MSCW 2019 Scenic Drive #6 - Best Drive by a Dam Site

Join us on September 14th as we explore Northeastern Maryland near the Susquehannah River and end up at the Hampton National Historic Site.

We'll begin our drive at the Perryville Outlet Center (I95 North in Maryland, North of Baltimore, Exit 93) at 10 AM.  Our route will take us along the northern bank of the Susquehannah River to US 1 where we'll head south across the Connowingo Dam (with a stop downstream for pictures).  From there we meander across country farm roads and through the Gunpowder Falls State Park on our way to Towson, where we'll have lunch at the Bread and Circuses Bistro.   After lunch, folks can easily get on I695 to head home or stay with us for a short drive to the Hampton National Historic House, a free National Park featuring the largest house in the USA in the late 1700s.
