[MSCW list] MSCW Special Event #5 - Foliage Tour - October 19th

Join us on October 19th (predicted to be just before Peak Foliage) for an all-day adventure covering West Virginia, Maryland, Pennsylvania, and Virginia.

We'll depart the Walmart Parking lot in Charles Town, WV (convenient to US 340) at 9:00 AM and head Northwest through Martinsburg and into Hancock MD, then west along scenic US 40 and north to Everett PA, then west along US 30 with a stop in Bedford PA for lunch at the Jean Bonnet Tavern (https://www.jeanbonnettavern.com.  We'll make our way to US 219 and head south back across the Mason-Dixon line to Grantsville MD and south on MD 495 towards Deep Creek Lake before heading through Elk Garden, WV, to join US 50 east bound back to Winchester, VA, arriving at the Walmart near I-81 around 5 PM.

Total Mileage is 270 miles and total time will be approximately 8 hours.  For folks who'd like to bail out earlier, we'll be crossing the PA turnpike at lunchtime, and I68 about 2:45 PM.
