Our first club drive in 2020 will reflect our pandemic reality by being fairly short (72 miles) and limited to only 8 cars total.  The drive will start at the Rite Aid Parking lot in Potomac Maryland (10134 River Road, Potomac, MD 20854) and we will head West on River Road and make our way to White's Ferry for a ride across the Potomac to Virginia (this ride will cost $5 per car one way, please have cash ready!).  Once in Virgina, we'll make our way to US 15 north, then head West and Northwest on secondary roads to Lovettsville and then crossing the River Northbound into Brunswick, then making our way past US 340, through Middletown Maryland and up and over the mountains in the Frederick Municipal Forest down into Frederick, where we'll pass Fort Detrick and end up at a Sheetz station near US 15.  That'll be the end of the drive, and folks can join 70/270 nearby for an interstate drive home, or can take US 15 south towards Virginia.

Please have plenty of gas and an empty bladder at the start of the drive- with current conditions there's no guarantee that public restrooms will be available, though I called and confirmed that the Sheetz gas and restrooms will be available for folks who maintain the appropriate distances.
