[MSCW list] Pop-up drive - leaf-peeping and peruvian food scouting

Folks,

I still need to test out the Las Caverns Peruvian Restaurant in Front Royal for our November Chilling Cruise Drive, and with the leaves changing and Saturday looking dry weather-wise, I decided to drive the northmost section of the Skyline Drive from Thornton's Gap up to Front Royal and do some leaf-peeping on the way.

If anyone wants to come along, I'll be at the Massie's Corner Parking Lot (Washington, VA, where US522 splits from US211 and heads north) around 11:30, and will head towards the mountains on US211 at noon.  That will get us to the Skyline Drive by 12:15 and to Front Royal and Las Caverns (https://cavernspollo.com/) by 1:30 PM.

There's no signup or limit on this drive - I'm just inviting folks to come along.  I WILL leave the Massie's Corner lot at noon.   I'd appreciate an email message (tim dot Metzinger at outlook dot com) if you're planning on coming, and a phone call or text message if you get delayed.
