This is an early notice for an event in May.

Blinkerfluid Productions is putting on a Roadster Rally (https://theroadsterrally.com) in Ocean City, NJ on May 11, on the Boardwalk. There will be a rally point for all the roadsters to gather, and then we will be parked on the boardwalk all day (no leaving early) where our cars will be judged, and then we will parade off in the late afternoon.

For folks who want to go up on the 10th, I will be taking a route from the Bowie, MD area at 1:15PM, across the Bay Bridge, and over to Lewes DE where I'll catch the 4:15 PM ferry boat to Cape May, then drive past my old apartment in Wildwood Crest, and take the Garden State Parkway up to Ocean City arriving around 7PM. Folks are welcome to join me if they book their own ferry ride.
On the 11th, after the show, I'll head west across NJ to the Delaware Memorial Bridge, then down on US301 into Maryland and back across the Bay Bridge to get home.
There will be two options on the sign-up depending on if you're going to take the boat ride with me, and if you're going to come back with me. If you're going to come and go on your own schedule and routes, great, send me an email and I'll do what I can to see if we can all park together on the Boardwalk.

Logistics:
Assembly - We'll assemble at the Davidsonville Park and Ride at 1:00 PM on June 10.
Departure - We'll depart at 1:20 PM, heading for Lewes, DE. We will NOT wait for late people, as we need to arrive in time to catch the ferry.
Time/Distance - Heading TO Ocean City, the driving miles will be about 151, and will take 5.5 hours including the ferry passage. Heading back FROM Ocean City, it's 168 miles and about 4 hours including aa few bladder breaks.
Food - No food stops planned on this trip, though if anyone has any suggestions, we can try one.
Car limits - no car limits on this trip, but please don't sign up for the drive TO Ocean City until you've booked your ferry trip.
Weather - I believe this will be a rain or shine event, based on the weather in Ocean City.
Technology - I will bring nine extra Midland GMRS radios. If you want to bring your own GMRS radio, we will be using Channel 30 on Midland Radios, or 462.7000 MHz frequency and CTCSS 17 for the privacy code. In Glympse, we'll use the !mscw_cruise tag to keep track of each other. I'll have GPS for the subgroup leaders, and there may be an extra as well.

RSVP via signup genius at https://bit.ly/mscw2024-dd-3. Don't use Facebook to indicate you're going.
