Monty,
The positive post is the larger diameter one. It should have a "+" molded
into the top of the battery case also. The terminal block on this side is
much larger as well. If you are unsure and intend to jump it from a good
battery please get some help as connecting jumper cables backwards is
extremely dangerous.
