I would not trust the battery unless you get it load tested. At least carry jumper cables or a battery starter.

Re: vapor lock & vapor separator fuel filter
My '94 NA, 221,000 miles, has developed vapor lock problems.
Has anyone had experience with a vapor separator fuel filter to address
vapor lock? (Starts fine when the engine is cold, but will not restart
when the engine is hot ... until the engine cools.)
