[MSCW list] Rust Work?

Any suggestions on where - that is not a major haul from downtown DC - to get a small area (1 in^2 maybe) of surface rust looked at and possibly cleaned up on the corner of the fwd rocker panel of an NA Miata?  Not sure it even warrants a trip to the body shop, but I’m loath to make things worse in a way I can’t remediate trying to evaluate it for myself.
