Good morning Patricia,
Well that seems strange to me as I am on eBay all the time looking for interesting parts for my '90 Smurf. I regularly see used a/c compressors (from wreckers/junk yards and some individuals), and also companies that remanufacture them. I've given thought to buying a reman, a new receiver/dryer and the upgrade kit (seals & ports) to convert to the newer R134a refrigerant (because it's easy to refill; can do yourself with a can from your local parts store). Our 90-93s use the old, banned R12. My system hasn't been 'cold' in many years, but I really don't care as my top is permanently down and I only drive on fair weather, sunny days all year round. Even on hot days like today, the breeze while driving around the Shenandoah valley is enough for me! Hope you find what you're looking for.
Happy Motoring!
Charles.
