This looks like a great event - I don’t think I’ve done a track event since B.C. (Before Covid).  Questions:

1.	What does the track require in the manner of car prep?  (Fresh brake fluid, inspection, whatever)

2.	Helmets?  Do they require current Snell rating?

3.	Also important:  Chow.  What sort of edibles are available, considering the potential length of the event if one stays to see the other competitive racing events that evening?

This drive will take us to Dominion Raceway in Thorburg, VA, where we will have a private track-attack event. Some of us went down for Holiday Hot Laps last year, and that was the inspiration for this event.

There will be corners and elevation changes and all the things that make our cars a thrill to drive, but there are also NO animals/kids/minivans to keep us from exploring the performance envelope of our cars, there is no passing, and there is plenty of room to lose and regain traction.  We will help them get organized by self-separating ourselves into three groups:

> Car limits ? 24 cars max for the laps, and 36 cars for the drive to the track.  We will divide into subgroups, and the leaders will have GPS. If the laps aren't filled by May 9, I will invite other Miata groups to join in.
> Weather - This will be a rain or shine event, but if it's pouring cats and dogs and they close the track we will work to reschedule.  If it's cancelled, we'll get refunds (I'll refund you and collect from the track).
> Technology -  I will bring eleven extra Midland GMRS radios.  IIf you want to bring your own GMRS radio, we will be using Channel 30 on Midland Radios, or 462.7000 MHz frequency and CTCSS 17 (118.8 Hz) for the privacy code.  In Glympse, we'll use the !mscw_cruise tag to keep track of each other.
