One thing to add to Tim’s response is that all the items are for the owner/driver to check prior to arriving at the track. The track staff does not do any tech inspection prior to track attack events. 
Additionally, cleaning your trunk of loose items that would be subject to moving around, removing any loose items inside the car that could become dislodged and get under your feet, and cleaning your windshield are important.

Responding to Jack's questions:

I'll be shipping a prep handout to folks who sign up in early April, but it's nothing too onerous (similar to the tech check at an autocross).

  *
Make sure your car tires will pass a safety inspection similar to the state inspection (no dry-rot; no cuts or gouges; no bald spots; and proper amount of tread) and that they're properly inflated.
  *
Make sure the oil and coolant are at the proper level.
  *
Make sure the brake fluid reservoir is at the proper level, and the fluid is not too dirty.
  *
Make sure the brake pads are thick enough to pass state inspection, and that your lug nuts are properly torqued.
  *
Make sure the car isn't leaking any fluids (A/C condensation is ok)'

No helmets are required for these events, even for convertibles, but you may bring one if you wish.
Food  - for folks driving down to the track (leaving at 12:45 pm), get lunch before the drive (I may suggest a place to meet for lunch near the Stone Springs starting point.  While at the track (from 3:35 until 6ish), the restaurant at the track will be open - https://www.dominionraceway.com/118-bar-grill.  There are both fast-food and sit-down restaurants in Thornburg after the event.  I'm not sure if I'm going to stay for the NASCAR races, but if I don't stay, I'll probably take back roads northbound and may look for a restaurant on the way.  That something that the folks who are going can chat about via email in May.

This looks like a great event - I don?t think I?ve done a track event since B.C. (Before Covid).  Questions:

1.      What does the track require in the manner of car prep?  (Fresh brake fluid, inspection, whatever)

2.      Helmets?  Do they require current Snell rating?

3.      Also important:  Chow.  What sort of edibles are available, considering the potential length of the event if one stays to see the other competitive racing events that evening?
