[MSCW list] 99 NB “make wife happy again” suspension

Hi All,
We have about 7k miles on a new set of Bilstein dampers with the MSM springs and sway bars. The Miata is Susan’s car, but she hasn’t enjoyed driving it since the upgrade. Any thoughts or suggestions? 
We tried the strt orange koni with stock springs before the upgrade and I think it was actually looser than stock.
